Cincinnati, OH - ProMach, Inc. announced today that it has acquired Edson Packaging Machinery, Ltd, a leading manufacturer of high performance case packing equipment, based in Hamilton, Ontario. Edson will join ProMach's End of Line Business Unit, which provides stand alone equipment and integrated packaging line solutions for many of the world's most recognized food, beverage, industrial products and consumer goods companies.
Edson, founded in 1962, provides specialty packaging equipment, parts and service for companies worldwide that require high performance case and tray packing solutions. Gary Evans, CEO at Edson, will join ProMach as Vice President and General Manager of Edson. He will report to Barry Heiser, President of ProMach's End of Line Business Unit. "ProMach intends to continue producing Edson packaging machinery in Ontario," said Barry Heiser. "We are excited to work with their team to further develop complete integrated End of Line solutions."
