For instance, we were presented with the following challenge:
Design a solution that will provide for case orienting, open flap detection, on-line case printing, bar code scanning and case sortation in a confined space, directly after a medium speed, ‘large case’, case packer.

Considerations:
In this application there is a large case size range, therefore Edson’s solution will need to optimize system flexibility and minimize set-up times. AND design a system that integrates all the required functions into a space of less than 200 sq. ft.
